Lovely Hotel opposite the New Forest !!

Parked at the front of the Hotel, nice gardens well maintained. Quick checkin, lovely room ,spotlessly clean. Staff really friendly. The start of the New forest is over the road with horses wandering about. Really lovely. The Hotel is facing the main road into Lyndhurst, but Hotel pretty quiet. Dog friendly, we didnt take ours but the other dogs were well behaved. 5 minutes walk into town, quite a few pubs and restaurants. We had breakfast at Hotel, it was well cooked and hot. Pre ordered night before so no waiting, brilliant !!

Can’t speak highly enough of this hotel

We visited the Ormonde Hotel with friends for a short break after lockdown had lifted. What a fantastic hotel it is! Very comfortable clean rooms & the friendliest staff we have ever met, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Breakfasts were lovely & we had a fantastic Ghurka curry in the restaurant in the evening. Thank you to all the staff for giving us such a memorable break in the beautiful New Forest. Anyone giving this hotel a try won’t be disappointed.

We stayed in a Pinewood suite in may, prior to the hotel opening. The room has been updated and is much improved. The updates include a better TV, comfortable settee and complete redecoration. I believe the new owners have taken the opportunity to upgrade the hotel itself. Pinewood was a big improvement. The New Forest was quite due to a lack of tourists, but the traffic was great and we had no trouble getting meals and drinks..
