Ormonde House Hotel was Tripadvisor no 1 Hotel in Lyndhurst 2009 but has since dropped to no 2 when a fabulous 5* hotel opened in November !! Room prices start from £225.

+ Lovely situation in the New Forest. Good Quality Meals and service.Excellent Variety on Breakfast and Evening Menus.Easy to find

+ Good size room, well appointed, very clean.Within easy walking distance of Lyndhurst town centre.Staff helpful and efficient.

- Fridge in room is a good idea , but is noisy when on.Cooked breakfast when not having all the items was a bit mean.Bed hard, with springs near the surface.

This fridge has been relocated,

 breakfast items increased on request

All our mattresses are pocket sprung, but do need turning on a regular basis, this rooms mattress wasn't ! our fault

+ I loved the spa bath and superking sized bed

- My husband kept banging his head on the sloping attic ceiling

Shorter customers ! We have four rooms with sloping ceilings, but these 2nd floor rooms have better views

I regret there is not enough demand to keep the beer in top condition but we do stock local bottled beers

There is no limit, we are trying to engage with our guests better when taking breakfast orders

+ Easy parking.Close to town cafes and pubs.Very comfortable room.a standard double with sofa and nice bathroom toiletries.Free Wifi

-Breakfast closed to early for us, so we never made it

Cooked breakfast ends at 9.30, Continental breakfast 10.am ,Coffee/Tea croissants and orange juice till 11am
