Bournemouth -

Portsmouth Dockyard -
In 1985 the British Government granted a long lease over the most historic part of Portsmouth Dockyard to the Portsmouth Naval Base Property Trust, a registered charity charged with the conserving its many historic buildings by finding new economic uses. This part of the dockyard is now open to the public and is home to attractions such as the Mary Rose and HMS Victory.

Visit the world famous historic ships at the home of the Royal Navy. Go aboard HMS Victory, HMS Warrior 1860 and see the Mary Rose Museum for the best day out in the South of England.

Portsmouth Harbour’s leading attraction also includes the National Museum of the Royal Navy, Action Stations and Harbour Tours.The Historic Dockyard is a great place to experience 800 years of naval history surrounded by working docks and historic buildings.

Salisbury Cathedral -
Salisbury is one of the finest medieval cathedrals in Britain. It is the mother church of the Salisbury Diocese, an area which covers most of the counties of Wiltshire and Dorset. Started in 1220 it was completed by 1258, with the Spire, the tallest in England (123m/404ft) added a generation later.

Southampton -
The city was bombed heavily during the Second World War. It meant much of Southampton had to be re-built in the post-war period - which is why you see so many relatively modern buildings. Southampton is home to Premiership football, cinemas, parks, shopping centres, parks and marinas.

At West Quay there are 97 stores to inspire, including 50 of the hottest fashion stores with John Lewis now open 7 days a week. There's also a tempting choice of places to eat, drink and relax.
